Hello 👋,
It has been a while since I wrote my last post on November 7th, 2023. Today, February 16th, 2024, I felt I needed to write and tell you I’m on a long winter break. Not because I won’t want to show up or have nothing to say.
If you read some of my last posts, you’ll know I have been dealing with some family issues, and those issues have sadly progressed to the point of estrangement.
Adding to this, I’ve been dealing with the loss of one of my oldest friends from high school to Ovarian Cancer this past December.
These heartbreaking events have made me curl up and grieve.
For me, Winter is a time to withdraw and hibernate. A time to lick the wounds, release what no longer is here and/or what (who) needs to be released, and just heal. As winter parallelly travels with the change of the year, it’s very much a liminal space to me. A space where I look back and reflect, and envision what’s near me and my future making me able to see where I’m headed. This happens at a very slow pace which needs to be respected.
Spring time
So, I’ll continue in my hibernation mode for a bit longer and my goal is to emerge full of inspiration and ideas with this upcoming Spring Season.
Yes, I’ve lots of ideas and projects which I’ll start to share then.
In the meantime, you can follow me myweathervane, where I share what I’m up to a few times on a weekly basis.
But for now, I wanted to leave you with a Winter journaling page ⬇️
📝 Winter Season Journaling Page
I created this page as a way to write about the relationship we have with Winter.
Moreover, it can be used as a reflection tool near the end of the season, around early to mid-March.
This journaling page is part of The Library. To access this and other free journaling pages just click the button below.
🌬️ Sending you magic & healing your way,
