Happy Thursday & Spring Equinox dear ones!
SPRING is finally here 🌸
A new series is around the corner, this time more on a personal note, and yes, I’ve tried this before; however, the intention wasn’t really clear back then, which resulted in deflated inspiration after a while.
When I say personal, I mean that I’ll be sharing more of myself, my stories, my journals, including structure and systems, and a bit about my life, but still in a way that is hopefully inspirational for you, too.
So let’s get started!
In today’s letter, I’ll introduce …
✒️ My personal beliefs when it comes to keeping silent
💝 Behind the scenes: the creation of my Spring Seasonal Life Binder and inspiration stuff
📖 The power of keeping silent
As the official Spring date is approaching, March 20th, together with the arrival of Aries Season (more on that soon!), we are invited to start a new phase of our lives. This season is a period of preparation, among other things, and this can include working further on our dreams and starting to set intentions and goals.

And as the Gemini Sun that I am, I’d love to tell you about my intentions and goals for the year ahead, however, I believe in the power of keeping silent when it comes to our dreams, intentions, and goals - having a Scorpio Moon helps! - And I’m gonna tell you all about it today.
I was born and brought up in the 80s in a catholic country, which was mixed with catholic and local (folk)lore, and this resulted in a lot of superstitions.
Two main beliefs or suspicions that stayed with me are:
💦 Do not spit up to the sky
I really don’t know if this is something other Spanish-speaking countries say, though I haven’t heard this elsewhere than my native country, and that is “No escupas al cielo!” which means “no do spit up to the sky”, and this means that if we do this - speaking too soon = spitting up to the sky - the natural force of gravity ensures that it will come back down, often landing right on your own face.
An example would be: when you have an important appointment, and you see a traffic jam on your phone for the route you are supposed to take. You then think of another route, and before you get to your final destination, you say to someone who is with you: “I’m glad I took this route and successfully avoided the traffic jam”, only to find that the viaduct or crossover is blocked by maintenance that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. You just spit up to the sky = you spoke too soon! And now you are stuck on this one-way road with no option to turn around.
This literally happened to us, my partner and I, and he’s the one who often brings the words outload and too soon. He didn’t grow up with this belief, and I always have to explain this to him, and tell him: “This is bad juju!”.
The lesson of this saying is that we speak ONLY WHEN we have reached our final destination or completed our goal.
👁️🗨️ The evil eye
The other superstition is the belief in the evil eye. This is a belief and a concept found in many cultures, and it means that someone’s envious gaze or thoughts can negatively affect another person’s luck & fortune. Even if someone doesn’t actively or consciously wish harm upon you, their unconscious envy, jealousy, or resentment can create an energetic disturbance. So, this happens when someone wants what you have, basically.
When we share our dreams, intentions, and goals with others, four things probably will happen:
Everything is energy, and when we share our mind & heart, that energy that carries our intentions (and dreams and goals) will go outside of ourselves and get mixed with the other person’s energy. If this person is vibrating at a different frequency than you, your intentions will be combined and united with that person’s energy and re-created into something totally different than what you wanted it to be. You will not receive what you want. Instead, you may get something totally different and maybe not desirable at all.
To add another layer, let’s say this person is unhappy with their current life and can’t see a way out, they may feel (un)consciously envious of you and your intentions because you intend to do something to better yourself and your life, while they live in the illusion that they cannot do the same for themselves → the evil eye gets activated. To put it bluntly, your intention gets f*cked up.
Being at risk for unsolicited advice. If this person is vibrating differently than you, they might not agree with your intentions and feel the need to share that disagreement with you, and what you should do instead. This is where we enter the space of unsolicited advice, which will result in doubt; doubt in your dreams and intentions, and doubt in yourself and your capacities. Even if you don’t believe in woo-woo stuff, you know that when people intend to do something and achieve their goals, they need to believe they CAN DO IT. If we can’t, what is the point of doing it, right?
We f*ck ourselves up, by speaking too soon → the spit at the sky juju gets activated.
Everything is energy
The air we breathe, the thoughts we think, the emotions we feel, the actions we take, all of it carries a vibrational frequency. Everything begins in the unseen before it manifests in the physical. Every building was once an idea. Every work of art started as a vision. Every shift in our lives first took root in thought before it became reality.
And our dreams, intentions, and goals are no different. They, too, are energetic seeds full of potential.
This means:
A thought carries energy.
A spoken word amplifies that energy.
An action aligns that energy with physical reality.
So, that is why I don’t share my intentions, dreams, and goals until I know I’ve created momentum for them or when they have manifested into something tangible.
In cyclical living, this may be reflected during the harvest period → autumn season, and the waning gibbous moon phase.
Silence isn’t about fear; it’s about power. The most sacred and transformative things in life often happen in the unseen, in the quiet, in the spaces where energy is protected and nurtured.
By keeping your dreams to yourself, you:
Preserve your energy
Protect your vision from envy and doubt
Strengthen your belief and confidence
Allow the universe to work its magic without interference
The next time you feel the urge to announce your plans, pause and ask:
“Am I sharing for support, or am I seeking validation?”
“Does this person’s energy align with my desires, dreams, and intentions?”
“Is my dream, intention, or goal strong enough to withstand outside influence?”
This may not be how everyone else operates or should operate. However, life and time have shown me that keeping silent is the best medicine for my inner peace and also how I can stay centered and grounded. You see, I also keep silent when I have anything medical going on. Whenever the results are ready, then I’m inclined to share them with the rest of the world. Only a small group of family members, including my partner, will be informed from the beginning, though.
So, when do I share? When my intentions, goals, and plan are already tangible in my life, or anything medical is conclusive.
🎬Behind the scenes
In the first week of March, I finally finished my Spring Seasonal Life Binder 📓. This has been such a labor of love, and it’s still in the early stages, which means that it still needs a lot of testing and improvements. But that is where things get fun, as it allows me to play, test, and improve as I explore myself, my dreams, and my intentions.
I blurred some images because, as I mentioned above, I’m keeping silent on my current intentions.
Now that the weather is changing, pushing the bitter cold little by little away, I’ve been enjoying my morning walks again. I’m not gonna lie, still quite cold in the morning, but the air feels different somehow, and this is the best moment before everyone goes outside too and starts making (loud) noises with the obsession of pruning everything away before the wilderness starts to grow.
The area where I live has spaces with dirt roads, where I can meander in a tranquil and meditative manner, which is great for starting my day.
I’m currently reading, well listening to be precise 🎧, “Sacred Success: a course in financial miracles” by Barbara Stanny. This book is about why and how we as women struggle with money (hence, power & success) and how this has little to do with money itself. I just started, but so far I’m liking it.
That is for today!
🖊️ Are you someone who shares their dreams & intentions from the get-go? Or are you a bit like me, who prefers to keep silent until the end? I’d love to hear your personal stories & opinions, so reply and share your reflections in the comment section!
